The illustration shows a deserted Hallstatt and is therefore relevant because one year later – in 2019 – the tourist destination Hallstatt was indeed deserted. The depiction of Hallstatt is digitally drawn and was published in an exhibition at the SALZWELTEN (Salt Worlds) in Altaussee on the topic of “overtourism” in 2020.
