With the series WHAT WE LOSE, I present works in various techniques on the theme of the rainforest. The series includes acrylic works on canvas, copperplate engravings, watercolors, drawings, oil on canvas, and screen prints. I attempt to reflect the diversity of this biodiversity with a range of painting and drawing techniques. In doing so, I want to highlight the excitement of a tropical forest and underscore its beauty. I almost want to preserve and frame it, protect and preserve it for future generations. My greatest weapon is art.
